Bumblebee came by for a skip shift install

We hadn't seen one of these Transformer Edition cars in the shop yet. It wasn't a big job, just installed one of the skip shift eliminators.

In fact, I took a call before the car went up on a lift and the tech was done with the install and backed the car out before I got off the phone.

$20 part plus $20 labor = no more 1 to 4 shift!

Nice looking car if you're into that I guess.... And I'll keep the jokes to myself about how someone with that car couldn't install their own skip shift eliminator

I don't know man, for a $20 install I'd think about taking it in, rather than dragging out the jack, getting it up on jackstands, etc. Unless I was also changing the oil or Ujoint or something.

I was gonna laugh about this earlier when I saw it. I paid $12 on Ebay for the eliminator and put it on myself. So realistically it cost more like $30 to have someone put it on. If you make it yourself it would cost you about $1 for the resistor.
