But hey keep on drinkin' the koolaid.......There is a reason Ford wouldn't let them compare a Boss............

Oh yeah, that was a 2011 version;less powerful and without adjustable suspension that the 2013 GT500 has. That car made 550hp from the factory if memory serves. That's within 10 HP and less torque than my ZL1 makes.
Then the GT500 is just as quick as the 1LE with 124 less hp....Cool.....The 13 GT500 ran a little quicker than the 1LE at VIR this yr. on the lightning lap with 236 +/- more hp.........A whole .9 seconds faster

Don't forget their comment that a bad missed shift caused a 1+ second addition to the 1LE time. So that means the 1LE would have bettered the GT500 time.

Sorry to burst your bubble man, but the BOSS 302 Laguna Seca beating 1LE can be cheaper than a 5.0 GT track pack.

I'll have to disagree. Unless the $4,000 premium package is required to purchase the Mustang track pack a GT with the track pack could be had for $33,590 according to this article. A non RS 1SS/1LE with no options can be had just barely over 37k. The price is the only thing going for the Mustang. Also ford has bigger rebates going for their models right now.

may be since they were outsold by Camaros. (pretty sure i read that somewhere).

you're right, which sounds like to me:

"give us a free car to tear up or else we'll give you a poor review against your biggest competitor"
