PTM mode not working?
When I switch to PTM mode, it now starts out in mode 2 as opposed to mode 3. I just noticed the difference over the last few days.
Also, while in mode 4, I performed a no lift up shift from 1 to 2 and experience severe bogging. There was no bogging when launching from 1st gear, only bogging after shifting to second. This also has never been a problem until today. Is the PTM programming somehow messed up? Any help is appreciated. thanks |

I experience better results (though not always) if I shift a tad early into second, without no-lift...and then allow the computer to help me through 2-3, and 3-4... |

...how many miles on the car, did you switch gas stations, or get fuel of a different octane rating? Maybe you have a bad batch of gas. Mine always starts out default in sport mode PTM 2 when I toggle the stabiltrak switch twice to activate PTM.

I think you guys make good points. I did fue up (93) at a gas station that I don't normally use, so it may be a bad batch of gas. If so, it may have kicked me down to the lower octane table.
It may also be possilbe that I shifted a bit late, thus hitting the rev limiter. I'll use this tank of gas up, fill up where I normally do, do the fuse pull and try again. thanks for the help. |
