V6 oil type
Does anyone knows if the V6 LT is like the sts cadillac using Mobile one Motor oil from the factory or is that not aplicable to the camaro aplication

Yes - mobile one from the factory.
I'll be draining mine for some royal purple break in oil once the odo hits 500. - Xanthos

On a side note you can still use conventional oil if you want. It won't "harm" anything but you will obviously have to change it more frequently.

Not intentionally resurrecting a thread, but I didn't want to start a new one on the same subject.
Anybody know what the factory oil change intervals will be on the Camaro? Or at least what they are on the CTS/STS? - Xanthos

Hopefully there'll be an oil life monitor. My cobalt uses Mobil One Synthetic, and i get about 8000km per change, and i go in when the oil meter hits around 15%.
