BMWDon bought a set of heads, throttle body and intake manifold off an LLT motor in a recycle yard(junkyard) and had the heads and intake all ported and cleaned up. I bought his intake and throttle body and had them both sent to the same guy that did his and had the same work done. I'll go through my old laptop and see if I have any of the before/afters. If not you're going to have to look at my befores and I can probably help you find the thread he posted with his portwork.

so you have the ported intake on your car now?

So did you notice any difference with the intake?
Do you also have the heads on too?

I never got the heads. I'm waiting to see what he gets out of his before I go that route. Notice any difference? I never did a dyno or anything. So far my best corrected time at track has been a 13.69 NA on my street tires. Waiting until it's not 100*+ at 9pm before I take her back to the track with the Vararam.

I do porting/cylinder head work on motorcycles (sportbikes mostly) but after seeing all the crap attached to the topend on the LLT I don't think I want to mess with it myself. If I get rich I may pay someone to pull and reinstall the heads for me.

I kinda doubt BMW's gonna ever finish that project, it seems he's moved on to bigger/better projects.
