Just get some headers!! Believe me, it will be loud enough with more power. DT Long tube will wake this thing up.

If I get LT headers I won't pass inspection.

Why not? Do they do the sniffer test? If not, you can do a couples things that will help you pass.

I'm in NC and moving to CA. I'm pretty sure due to strict emissions testing they won't pass you.

Keep your car registered in NC and dont have to worry about California emissions. Perfectly legal!!

100 percent correct if you keep NC registration. I have been in the military for over 16 yrs and stationed all over. I keep my registration in FL no matter where I go. You only have to meet the inspection requirements for the registration. Not registered in California, no inspection in California.

Along with pretty much every other state, exhaust mods are illegal including louder exhaust. Unless you get pulled over for being stupid, you should not have to worry unless you are ungodly loud. Otherwise you will never see a California inspection station unless you wanna sell your vehicle.

Lotta love right there.

I can confirm what Shark is telling you. We did 9 years AD in VaBeach and "got away" with alot of stuff since we stayed registered in NM.

Sorry that the peers didn't enjoy it as much as you do. Sent ya a PM in reguards to the sound changing ideas you asked about.

Hopefully we can get you fixed up and rocking out.

The DT LT's definitely aren't a bad idea.

Check out the YouTube Channel and get an idea of what they might be able to do for your car not being as loud as you'd like it situation.
