Any updates on the motor? Also just wondering why you went with the passenger side to run the turbo? Looks like it would of fit on the drivers side. I am just curious.

A couple of good reasons for passenger mount:

No steering linkage or brake booster in the way to run the downpipe which in this application is way bigger then turbonetics

Offset the weight of the driver already on the driver side

with regard to the failed bearings I want to ask:

- what oil did you use.

- is the turbo water or oil cooled

- do you have an engine oil cooler

- what are your running oil temp

- how do you have your PCV set-up

- Oil pressure at WOT?

did you look into those things as a possible cause for bearing failure?

Thanks guys. Going to start working on the car again. I think my bad transmission I got blew the thrust bearing out of the motor. Sucks because its nothing I could have prevented. Transmission was missing two thrust washers on the rear tail shaft/drum. Caused everything to slide back and fourth. Going to try and have it back together for my HUGE event I am hosting in Kansas City Mo called KC2K13. You all should come out.

Congratulations on COTW! Hope to see this bad boy at Indy Camaro5Fest in August. I want to see this car go down the track in person! Nice build!
