Mom's 2LT steering wheel didn't break in any way, but the silver pod came unattached from the wheel on one side. I couldn't get it to say back in for her.

The dealer did yesterday but then also ordered a new one with the following addendum, per service writer: "We ordered a new one but it may take a while to get as it's all they can do to keep the parts in stock for production for all of the cars they're building, let alone replacement part orders."

The temp fix pretty much fixed it anyway, for the time being, so no biggie. Otherwise, yes...things may take a while. We'll see on this.

I must have lucked out. I got hit by a wind storm in July, and the 15 seconds
of dirt hitting my car sandblasted my headlights, fog lights, windshield, grill,
emblems, all four side windows, etc. The dealer here in Denver (Go Chevrolet)
was able to get all the parts in under a week and my car was in the shop for
less than 2 weeks, for alot of buffing, paint, parts and new clear coat.
It looks better now than the orange pealed factory paint. Now it is smooth as silk. That cost insurance almost $8000.

Meanwhile I am paying for Onstar and XM radio and can not even use it... I so want to drive my new car! Oh, and I have lost a month's worth of warranty. How can they not get parts for cars on the street/sold and still produce over 4,000 cars a month? It is not right to ignor those who have purchased (paid for) Camaros which are on the road; Or in my case ...in the dealership awaiting a part to get back on the road. Every time I call I get the run-a-round!
call chevy cust service and complain, push the issue and they will note it and extend the warranty for the days out of service and they will probably extend your onstar and xm as well. i got a free year on my onstar on another car that was out of service for almost a month.

i had to wait 3 weeks for alot of small warranty parts, nothing that kept the car from being driven but parts supply is limited, everything is going to production and nothing to the parts warehouses since its a new model they dont know what will be a fast moving part.

I have an entire muffler system if you want to come get it in Md. Not sure why I ever kept it after I put on the Borla Catback exhaust system. It's still all 1 piece too.PM me if you want it.

I did. They said they would put me on "priority" status and call me back within 24 hours. ...it has been 48 and they have not called yet!

My guy finally called me late yesterday. He said he will work on it and get back to me Tuesday... It will be exactly 4 weeks Tuesday. My understanding is that I am waiting for a window motor.

My body shop had no problem getting a new black drivers mirror, but seems to be having a hard time getting the set of cyber grey hockey stripes to replace my drivers side one. Luckily I have my car back while I'm waiting for it.
