i want my IP covered in leather with the stitching like the concept, but its not something i want to do right away because i never noticed the IP in person or had a problem with it and ive had 3 encounters with 2010s
i wonder how much it costs to do that

Dash King carpet cover. EZ Fix.

There are plus's to some of the new materials. They should stand up to time better than some of the older stuff.

Do the dash top in black leather
PLEASE look elsewhere! Unique is a joke in the custom auto industry. Any shop that charges as much as they do and uses a rattle can to paint interior pieces speaks for itself. Look for a small upholstry shop. They will be alot cheaper and more than likely will do a better job. I have covered several pieces myself with various materials and its not to hard to do. GM needs to hire Will to do thier marketing, he can obviously sell ice to an eskimo! I would say find the same leather that the 2SS has on the seats and cover the dash with it kinda like Cadillac does with the CTS. I am personally going to paint my dash.

Unless I'm cleaning it, I never touch it.

Even on the door window sill isn't a problem imo because when my arm sits there, I don't have my elbow directly on it. I'm resting my arm on it either before or after the actual elbow. Though the door window sill really should be a little nicer (since you WILL be touching it a bit more than the dash) than the dash material.

Just don't make it fabric that show's wear spots like my '02 Camaro had. There was a wear spot where I rested my arm all the time...

people don;t remember when dashboards and doors were mostly metal... talk about hard AND hot. Lay your arm on one of those door panels after it had been sitting in the sun and YEEEOW!!! 3rd degree burns.

I like mine just fine the way it is. I love 100% stock myself and will keep it that way, though I might install a dash cover, if I can find a quality one, the keep the UV rays from fading and cracking it.

I tap on my dash all the time. Every time I get in I give it a few raps for love. Then at railroad tracks and flashing red lights. LOL

Who cares about how the dash sounds when you tap on it, honestly? What did it bother Road & Track and Car and Driver. Eff those lame duck mags. They nit pick. They also complained that the Viper was too loud once. Seriously.
