Thank you Tap for the info. People like you who post great information like that above is what makes this site the best.
Seeing those figures makes me even happier I ordered a yellow,1SS,manual. Makes it kind of unique.

So, I'm confused. The database shows 67,282 cars. The highest vin number is 83,351. Where are the other 16,069 cars?
It seems like everyone is using these numbers as "gospel" but they seem to be off. |

These numbers are from U.S. sales only, so it only gives us a good idea of the percentages.

looks like the numbers are off by at least 13,000 cars or a possible error of 8%...I know My car is not on his list...
I guess we will just have to assume the same pattern for the other 13000 cars...

Can anybody find an R6P breakdown? I know that 13-14k was mentioned, but how many of each model?

The database was put together by UCF w00t, I believe it is based on the U.S. window stickers. You can read his post through the link.

I have never understood the big deal about R6P, all it means is your ordered the car early, my VIN is under 8k and my car is NOT a R6P car and I have seen cars higher that are RP6, in the long run I dont think it will matter at all except for sentimental value to the person who ordered it

I'm kind of surprised that CGM is less popular than RJT.
