If you want drone go MBRP 3", I tried the LS3 and L99 systems by adding the L99 resonated H in place of the LS3 X, both too obnoxious inside the car for me.

I have Solo hi-flow cats and midpipes and a GMPP Track Pack (bullet-style mufflers for supposed off-road use) axle-back and I swear the combo sounds pretty much the same as that video from Apex with the headers, hi-flow cats and cat-back.

The wife and I just went on a 3000 mile road trip in August. She nor i never had a problem with drone. She kept turning the radio off because she wanted to hear the pipes purr, that's a girl. Each to there own I guess.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but that yellow Camaro with the MBRP exhaust is not as "deep" of a sound as you can get on the 5th Gen. I listened to the video twice with high quality headphones, and everytime the throttle was hit, you could hear the "tin" and "Hollow" sound of the exhaust.
OP everyone is going to tell you what they "Think" is a deep sounding exhaust, but there's only a couple different setups that are actually deep. Also be advised, the deeper you go with your exhaust note, the more it's going to drone. And don't believe everyone when they tell you there's "no drone" on their setup. All that means, is they may be able to tolerate an obnoxious noise more than you can.

I second the MBRP exhaust. I have it, love the sound and I get many compliments on how it sounds. At first I did have some drone, my wife hated to ride in the car and I was not happy. But, after 2 or 3000 miles the mufflers burned out a little and the drone is totally gone. Now I absolutely LOVE the sound. If you want loud and raspy, get something else. If you want a nice deep rumble get MBRP. |

I really like how the stock exhaust sounds when you accelerate but i wish it was louder. Curious what longtubes would sound like with highflow cats an x pipe with stock mufflers
