Alright, here is my story.

I have a 1975 camaro with a 454 BBC , I live in Japan now so when I come home on leave it is my DD. This past March it wiped a lobe on the number 8 intake. My dad has ported the heads, gutted the cam and cleaned most of everything up but next week will be going into the hospital for knee replacement surgery! So that puts him out for at least 4 weeks. There is a good chance he will not be able to finish this project in time. Are there any shops located around my dads place in Fort Myers to finish it? The last thing I want to do is install heads/cam and break a motor in after a 22 hour flight.

We did have a shop called Aftermath Performance just off Hanson in Fort Myers. I've been going to them for the past couple years. They had a Dyno Jet and did lots of work on local cars. Jeremy Formato (great tuner) also stopped by the shop about 1 a month to do tunes.

But on Aftermath's website they said they're moving their shop over to the East Coast of Florida. I'm hoping another performance shop takes over their location off Hanson. There's been a good performance shop at the location for the past 10 years or so (previously ProAutoTech - but they also moved out of the area).

The only other shop I know about is J&J performance in Cape Coral.

They're having a dyno day next Saturday.

If anyone else in the Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naple area knows of a good
performance shop (skilled with LSX engines, etc) please let us know.

Most the other shops I know about are out of the area (Tampa, Orlando, etc).
