Sap and My car love each other!
I park under a sap tree.... I live in an apartment and I park under a sap tree in the parking lot...
The good: I have two parking stalls because I am RIGHT at the end of the lot. The bad: The tree likes to drip its sweet sap juice all over my car. Now.... I COULD just get "Sap remover" but this would mean i'd have to do it everyday by hand.... And that can get tiresome and COSTLY. The solution? I am hoping you guys might have had the same situation.... Is there a really good wax out there that can protect my car and possibly make it so the sap can be just washed away with a quick rinse with a power wash hose? I am in need of your help camaro5 community! Bestow your intelligence onto me and help me teach that sap a lesson! |

No. There's no such thing that will do what you're wanting. There's no way I'd park under a tree repeatedly that I knew dropped sap...

Still gonna be a bastard to get off I imagine. The paint would be safe, but its not gonna just rinse off. Or does it?

Weird thing is, I've never really had to clay my car since opticoating, you really need to "let it go" per say to get it to that point. Of course, with the OCDetailer lifestyle we live, that's never happened to me So yeah, OP, there's no "perfect" solution to what you're asking, but imo opticoat is the closest thing to what you're asking for.

Methyl hydrate is a cheaper alternative to remove sap. Wash your car after to remove the residue.

I just wouldn't park under a tree. Not only do you have to worry about sap, but birds live in the trees and poop on your car, leaves and or branches can come down, it's not worth it.

The apartment I live at gave me two parking stalls.... So I can park my car and that way I can be 100% safe knowing that my car wont get dinged by a neighbor. But... like I said... I park under a tree that drops sap almost everyday... So I have to choose to park under a tree... or near cars.... Grrr. |

The issue with that is cheap car covers often scratch up cars.
OP you could carry a can of APC or sap remover like Tarminator in the car?
