Midnight Silver=black wheels(builder site ?)

Hi all,

I noticed on the builder site that when you choose the RS package for the 1LT, you end up with Midnight Silver 20'' wheels, which look more Midnight(black) than silver. However, of all the pics of RS cars, I don't recall seeing a single on with black(midnight) wheels. Is this just a graphics error on the builder site and they aren't supposed to look THAT black or do they force you to upgrade again to get rid of the black wheels?

Thanks in advance for any information.

The midnight silver wheels do look alittle too dark on the chevy builder.

The Midnight look little more of a Smoke Silver and in the Builder site there is a comparison picture on the left where you choose the wheels you can see the difference between each wheel

Hmmm....

I don't see a picture of the midnight silver wheel on the left. I see the upgrade 20'' wheels, but it isn't the midnight silver.

Does anyone have a picture of the Midnight Silver wheels that come with the RS package?

Thanks.

Thanks all!

Wow! That midnight silver on the build site is WAY too dark compared to that picture. Thank goodness it's not really that dark. No way I could've handled that. I probably would still prefer the Sterling Silver, but if there is as little difference between the two as the pics above show, it won't be a problem to "settle" for the Midnight Silver.

Thanks all, for the info!

Check out the Oshawa pics with the lot full of Camaros. You can see RS, and non-RS wheels side by side.

Here, I'll get it...

RS wheels on the VR in the background

SS Standard wheels on the IOM in the foreground

There you go, real life pics, enjoy.

The builder site has some screwed up color contrast and does some misrepresentation of several options, namely the CGM stripe packages and CGM itself, which are as dark as my sig has them IRL. They do look good, though; having seen them IRL on the Vic Red NAIAS showcar.

They make it dark to represent it being more chrome.
