11.8 sounds about right. with the more aggressive cam, and 32valve system, the 5.0 is alot more suceptable to a tune than our LS is stock.

Idk if I'm getting bulls**ted with one of his friends information even though it does sound right.... But that's not anything to be as cocky as he is about 11:8 daily driver yeah it's awesome but not nothing to be going around saying your top dog with the fastest car around

When I was shopping for a car I could have gotten the 5.0 and prochargered it with the extra money but I'm a CHEVY man all the way plus the mustang isn't that nice looking especially in the interior so I went with the ss
Anyways... Back to topic but I plan to have 560-585wrhp in the next two months with a Maggie and full exhaust! Can't wait to have the top dog crown lol jk

Funny you say that, the interior was one of the selling points for me over the SS. Large slabs of hard plastic on the door and dash don't make for a nicer interior.

At night the interior lighting on the door trim is very nice and the gauge pods are also a ready nice feature along with the heads up display

His combination of exhaust, cai, tune, and drag radials = 11-second 1/4 mile times on a new 5.0 with somebody who knows how to drive. 3-car lengths sounds about right. If he were spraying with that combination he could be running very low 11s.

You do understand that it takes a 1LE or ZL1 to make even a Mustang GT look silly on a roadcourse, right? I understand a few of you have a chip on your should due to obvious short comings in a syraight line but come on. I went from a 2007 C6 Z51 to my 2012 Camaro and although I didn't like that a 5.0 would drag it's ass I got over it.

you understand that even a mustang that cost 10k more cant even beat a 1LE on a roadcourse? (Boss 302 Laguna Seca)
