Cold Air Inductions

My pops was looking for a simple bolt on for a few extra ponies for his '11 L99. He decided to spend a little extra for the CAI cold air, the results were great, a solid 2mph gain in the quarter. My wife liked it so much she ordered one also, both kits were consistent in fit, finish and quality. Top notch product with great results.

+1 Outstanding product in terms of quality and performance. It is by far the most popular intake system we carry.

Not often in this age you find a product of this fit, finish, consistency and quality. Will find out the performance advantage on my wifes car next week at the track.

The CAI intake is one of the best intakes you can get. Do the adm scoop or your own ram air and it's even better.

Was the 2mph gain run at the same track, same DA?

Actually the DA was worse and still picked up 2mph. My pops has run his car since the first week of ownership and been down the track 25-35 times in a couple months time and the car always ran 103mph. The first pass with the CAI cold air was 107 mph with the fastest E.T. ever on that night. He does NOT have the scoop or the washer relocate. My wife was there running her car the same night and because of the D.A. her car was actually down fron average mph that night.

Very interesting. Thanks for the information. I just installed a CAI intake on my 2011 SS LS3, basically because it was given to me, my car hasnt been back to the track but does seem to run better, but wasnt sure if it was the colder weather or the "noise" factor playing tricks on me.
