Service reset question

Hi everyone,

I'm going to do a service at the weekend and wanted to know how to reset the car once I service and do I need too?

The car computer States the oil % so how do I reset things like that?

Thanks

Hiya mate,

It's was recently covered in this post with a few things you can do on the service and the parts you might need.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=427194

Personally I was able to reset the remaining oil life by scrolling through the menu until it displays the oil life and the holding the button, that worked for me but others have done it using pedals.

As far a I'm aware it's just the oil life that has to be reset. But maybe someone else can verify.

Same for me - scroll through menu to oil life and simply press the end of the stalk in to reset to 100% (same way as you reset trip meter, average speed, mpg etc).

Change the diff oil for sure. Will be horrible if it's factory fluid.

Yeah Pete mentioned that. I think I'll do that in the spring. Is it an easy job?
