I've heard another myth, that MN has snow that is more slippery than places like Buffalo, Chicago, and Boston.

Yes, black ice. Melted snow runoff never re-feezes in Boston, which means I've never knocked over a tree on Brush Hill Road just outside of Mattapan after wiping out on black ice.

I was in Boston last week and our driver had to drive us from Billerica to the airport on Thursday. The semi behind us ended up squishing a car that was trying to pass him on a single lane freeway on ramp. I would not say the snow is slipperier here, but when the ground temp is below freezing all the time any moisture will freeze in place and you get ice. It only takes a numb steering wheel and too much speed to put you in a ditch. I dislike the disconnected feeling I get in most cars steering, including the Camaro.

Your Camaro in MN?

If you haven't entered the poll on how many Camaros are in MN could you please. I know I don't see many during the summer and most are probably hibernating now but we should have more than 18.

Doesn't look as bad as expected for depth. But I expect ice under the snow where they didn't put something down early.

True, but it looks pretty greasy out there from what I'm seeing. Oh well, this is when I love my 3-mile commute.

Nice. Don't have to put up with drivers or weather very long.
