Good luck with your repair.

Will you please let us know what the TOTAL cost of the repair was in the event those of us who may need a top replacement at some point and GM decides not to help defray the cost, can be somewhat realistically prepared for the potential financial schock? I'm certain it will be GREATLY appreciated by many of us on this forum.

I sure will, because that is exactly what I was looking for when it happened to me. I called the dealership trying to find out what the cost was and they would not tell me without coming in. Car is not due back until Tuesday. If that holds true they will have it in the shop for 8 days.

Keep pushing and email William on here from GM Customer Support. If there is an issue they will step up, but you need to push for them to give the right answer not the easy answer.

So just got the car back, looks great dealership did a great job. They charged me $0 for the repair after all. I calculated the parts and labor cost and if I had to pay it would have been $960.39 before tax. Shout out to Rudolph Chevrolet in El Paso, Bernie my service rep and GM for standing behind their product. Good news story here.
