No thanks, looks well made though. Lose the brake light.

looks great , I agree you should lose the brake light. Is this just cosmetic or can you use it as a roll bar? If you can I'm in.

Absolutely great feedback ragtoppers , I think we all have agreed on one thing , which is amazing for c5 . Bob , we have one (could be yours) getting done right now with the iom stitching you wanted , but the speakers, lights those are still in the works. We did try a dome light like i told you out there , but finding the easiest way for a end installer to plug into the OEM dome light wiring is prooving to be the difficult part.

ill take some pics of the top up, and post them. Also there is no rubbing issues at all , we designed it to have about 3/8" clearance from the inside when the top is down.

Ill get it weighed for you blackvert, im guessing about 30lbs maybe.

On the subject of Roll bar certification , Definitely could not be considered one. Its made of certified thick wall bar , but the mounting would almost have to be welded with down pipes to the body, and obviously alot of folks couldnt or wouldn't want to cut their interior up to make it work. So its purely cosmetic , and it does its job very well , have a awesome weekend you guys.
Thanks for all the pms , im guessing we should make an unofficial list of the first member in each state to get one. We will come up with a little extra gift for the first 50. Ill post the 50 states with the members names by each on monday.

I'm with the others- take away the brake light and it would be perfect. I'd like to see how it works with the top up too.

Love it and I concur: lose the break light and let's see how it does with the top up. It looks easy enough to be done by a less-than professional grade mod'er.

I bet if it didn't have a brake light people would ask why it didn't have a brake light, LOL.

Another negative on the Brake Light. As a side not there is no such thing as a break light.. maybe a broken light?
I do like the looks of it though, and while not an official roll bar, it may provide some protection. Does it provide any other stiffening of the chassis? What is the material that covers the "thick wall"
Keep working on that Dome light solution.

This. Don't care for the light. If I end up with a drop top on the drive way I'll be ordering one.

Good morning gang , Thanks for all the great opinions. Pricing is set at $749 retail plus actual shipping for each location. We will start shipping the preorders we already have on schedule. I think we found our led dome light supplier , so with a little more testing that will be another available option. Looking forward to this summer ! Its supposed to rain any minute , but once it clears up Ill get some top down pics posted today.

Like it, agree the Brake light is too much. But...How about a wind screen to fit in it? Now that would be awesome!

Thanks chuck , thats also another great idea a few c5ers asked about at c5fest. Once we get cookin maybe we can look into this along with the other lighting options members have asked about.

DEFINITELY needs a windscreen/mount/option. With the delay of the factory windscreen that would make this a real winner.
