Just joined the club ...
After waiting over three months I finally took possession of my Black 2LT with white Rally stripes. I Love it. Have been crawling all over the car and website to learn all I can. What’s in the VIN number? Mine is: 2G1FG1EV5A9181872. I think I’ve figured most of it out but wondered about the last 5-digits. Is the 81872 related to the article referencing 89,415 total units produced? Thanks.

The last five digits is your cars sequential number. Meaning it is #81872. Mine is #42021. Enjoy the new ride.

My VIN is 81297 and it was one of the first cars built in January. Yours must have come off the line shortly after mine.
