Being so low to the ground is the problem.

I could do it in a couple hours if I didn't have to worry about that.

This style of cut-out might just be too big. Too bad too cause I like the design.

That is EXACTLY what I went through. The auto tranny is bigger than the M6 tranny. Makes it much harder to tuck them up in there. That's why IPS had to recut mine and weld them back together into the right shape to fit in there. If it wasn't for ground clearance on a lowered car, it would have been easy.

There is one spot I could get them in at, right behind the would be cats just before the bend toward the center but it's tight enough that I can't know till I cut it. Even putting the assembly up to it it's very close. But I'd have to cut the ends off the cutouts and use the OEM coupling clamp. Which is OK but if it still didn't work then it would suck.

Best not to try it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............

Oh just run the pipes through the interior and back out. Fixes your ground clearance problems...

Hmm - you can't just change out a section of the exhaust? Seems like the easiest way to me, but

Change it out to what?

That's what the 'Y' pipe does essentialy in a 10 inch section but have to be able to be a part that will fit the motors too.

you may have to shorten the cutout itself. shouldnt be an issue so long as you can get the clamp to still work.

snap some pictures if you can with a ruler or something of well known size next to the exhaust for reference if you don't mind.

I refuse to believe that. after all the other stuff Randy has done on his car... a little "placement" issue shouldn't be a problem.

Oh I know, I'm sure Randy can jerry-rig something up. That might just involve cutting/trimming the cut outs though.
