Rear brake pads rusted to rotors?

Yesterday I took my ss/rs out for a ride
it has been in storage since Nov.
I started it put it into gear and it was locked up
put it in reverse and gave it a little more throttle
and what ever it was broke loose sounded like it dropped
the gear, the rotors were rusted but after everything seemed
ok.
Will try it again today.

totally normal in your case... just dont apply the e-brake when you store it. I am betting you washed it right before you put it away. You're fine. It is scary though! Been there! BANG!

Yup, normal. Mine has done that a few times. Just need to take it out for a drive and hit the brakes firmly a few times and the rotors will clean up.

Had the same thing happen to me. Washed it and it sat for a week. Backed it up and BANG. Thought I hit the garage and after looking around realized what it was. I could see the rust mark on the rotor. Odd but normal.
