Awesome.

Again, look at the PRICE difference. Crazy what the car can do. Imagine what you can do with the 25k price difference to the nissan, 55k to the viper, and 143k to the aston martin.

At a minimum, you can do some serious suspension mods, a cam, blower/twin turbo, more weight reduction, even better tires and wheels, brakes, etc etc etc.

And it would be able destroy those other cars.

Love it. As another article said: anyone can build a car that makes great numbers with a six figure price tag. Further, the Z28 is really the only practical option if you track often.

This is partly why while I find those multi million dollar performance cars impressive in their performance, I find it more impressive when a car company takes a mass produced car and make it perform exceptional.

It is easier to make a car with the lightest components extracting the most out of it when you are essentially a speed shop making every part you need by whatever method you have to. However the Camaro being a mass produced car means the parts have to be designed in a way in which they can be easily produced in quantity. Also it is a platform that is in a car that starts at $24,000 which greatly limits what they can do to the car. Yet they got the right parts and tuned it just right to produce such a vehicle, for that matter the 1LE impresses me more then the Z/28 does.
