Sonic boom Rattles Portland to Seattle
Today about 1:45 pm two F-15s Scramble to hit seattle air space as it was breached by a float plane while the President was in this area.
They took off from Portland & hit seattle 8 mins later causing sonic booms through out the whole area http://www.komonews.com/news/local/100921834.html

Those jets are just badass! I work near the airport and see and hear them going by when they fly in my direction. They dont have sound sanctions like commercial planes.
8 Mins.! isnt that normally an hour flight commercially ?

That is just a press cover up, as they had to explain the sonic boom.
It was the Aurora Spy Plane that caused that. It was having flight trouble and the other two were there to blow it out of the sky if it was going to crash in population. The sonic boom happened when it regained control and sped off. http://www.area51zone.com/aircraft/aurora.shtml

Yeah good thing they where up high enough when they did it. When I lived in Manhattan, Kansas they where having war games at Fort Riley near by. 4 F-16's came in for a low level attack at supersonic speeds and had been accidentally flight pathed to close and low to Junction City which is right near Fort Riley, over 5000 windows got broken out due to how low they where from the sonic boom.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad some of you think this was a joke but it wasnt funny.

I don't thinnk it is funny, but I love the sound of a sonic boom and have only heard them out in the desert out by Edwards AFB. I'd love to hear them all the time. The sound of freedom.
