Non RS headlight halos

i have a 1ss non rs and i want to get halos for it. AAC offers a kit that is about 170. i think i can do it myself im just not sure, how do you fasten the halo in the headlight? and is there an easy way to install RS headlights? if so how much would that cost?

i know that you are supposed to re seal it with silicone, in that case id feel a lot better about breaking the seal.

Installed them last Friday. It took a lot to trust it would be ok in the oven but I did it. Set it up with a 3 way switch. Can have them on with the running lights, or off, or just turn them on by themselves with the car running or not. Connected them properly with 2 wire male / female connectors so no worry of ever having to cut wires to remove the bumper or headlights.

If you look on the boards, there are 2 people selling their headlights on here for about 100 bucks / pair. If you did screw it up, it would only cost you $100 to get back to normal.

If you're going to open your headlights to put in halos I would highly recommend doing an HID retrofit. I've never had HIDs until I did the retrofit and I absolutely love it, and HIDs are going to be a requirement for every car I own in the future. Check out my retrofit with dual color halos from AAC http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147580
