First, you need find the source of the water spots. If you are washing and drying in the shade, and towel drying completely afterwards, then it is unlikely this is the cause.
Could you be parking by a sprinkler? This is the worst cause of water spots as they soak the paint in mineral rich water which is often allowed to bake in the sun. These can be the worst water spots to remove. If it is just rain water spots (and the car is kept fairly clean) then they should clean up easily. I agree with others, start with a clay bar and clean the surface. Then, if the paint is in otherwise great shape, try polishing with BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish. Not only will this non-abrasive polish clean the surface, it will prepare it for the BLACKFIRE products you are going to use. If they are deep etchings, then you are going to have to polish it with an abrasive polish and a machine. |
