My wife hopped on the Pechanga Casino website to see if they had anything going on while her mom was out from Ohio and saw that they are doing a huge Charity Fundraiser for the Decon Jones Foundation on January 23 (Sunday).

I attended a similar event in San Diego last year and and had a blast! There is a Camaro5 meet already scheduled for this day and it will be meeting AT Pechanga.

This event is a total tax rightoff for those that like to keep your money come tax season.

Tickets are $50, I believe food will be included and they will have a 9' TV showing the games so you don't even have to miss the Conf Championship games.

There is a list of players that are scheduled to attend and there are always others that show up.

This is a great chance to rub elbows with some really cool people. There will be a silent auction for all kinds of goodies also.

Now that my computer is back and somewhat functional, here is the Link to the event.

Like I said before, I attended an event like this one last year (Martin Bayless Foundation) and had a blast. Getting to meet that I watched on Sunday and either rooted for or against is a pretty cool feeling. Most of the the one's that I have met have been very down to earth and enjoyed the attention and chance to "talk shop" about their past as well as current players and issues in the NFL.

While I do not know him personally (Decon Jones), he lives in my HOA of 200 homes. One of these days I'm just gonna knock on his door. He is just too cool to not talk to.
