I've spent more on looks, so I'll vote that way.
For the price of the V6, it had the paint and the style I really liked. I don't road or drag race. Performance was definitely secondary to how the car looked, what kinds of things I could do to the car, how well I fit in it, and how well the car reflected my personality. I think the V6 is a great compromise. I get all the same looks as the V8, yet my gas bills are less expensive and the difference in price between the two I can spend making my car unique and improving handling through corners.

Well I'd have to say speed but I got a v6 and I don't wanna hear about it lol. It's sexy but if it didn't have the pep it does I'd have never bought it.

Looks for sure. The second I saw the car for the first time in Transformers, looked at the wife and said I am getting that car. And sure enough I did, a 1LT, but then had to let it go for a bit, and then got it back in the form of a 2SS!

Looks, this car is too heavy to be able get to the "Fast" level without selling the farm.

It perfect fusion of all that is car.
Looks: Where you gonna find a car that EVERYBODY respects? You can show up at the country club, the dirt track races, the wine tasting, the Motley Crue concert, the PTA meeting, ComicCon, the rodeo, Rodeo Drive, the Vegas Strip, an MMA fight, or a polo club, and get mad respect from all, be they rough boys, classy ladies, gentlemen, or hot freakin' babes. The looks say, "I appreciate classic muscle, but also like new stuff that's clean and smells good. I've got a wild streak, but can be sophisticated all day long (never mind the mullet, that's just business in front, party in the back!). Performance: This car performs amazingly. I've driven a lot higher end sports cars, and enjoyed most, but never found the "total package" in any. Some have great acceleration, but a lousy ride. Some can slalom all day long, but bog down in a straight line. Some break down every third time ya try to start 'em, and it's gonna cost you a grand just to have Guissepe look under the bonnet. Some cost so much to drive, that for a regular guy like me, the cost would make every mile painful to embark upon. But THIS car is an awesome meeting of all performance factors... and can haul twice as many people as a Lambo, a Ferrari, a Porsche, or a Lotus (I know, I know... some of those can haul a small crowd, but THOSE will cost you four times what my ponycar cost, and still not look half as good!). So, uh, looks, class, bad- boy vibe, acceleration, cornering, price, speed, hotness, mod-ability, reliability, sex appeal, value, and beauty are what piqued my interest to start with.... but it so much more than that, now that I own one... |

I'd have to go with Sgt. Roach on this one. The Mustang might be a hair faster but, knowing others that I know that own the newest gen. Mustangs and when I look at my Silver Iced Lady which is plenty fast, I would have to see there is no comparison in pure awe and just that feeling like looking at a stunningly beautiful lady that the Camaro is just still simply breathtaking to me. I know the thread wasn't a Camaro/Mustang duel but people can we not agree that our Camaro's are simply the shiznit!!?!?!! |
