I more than likely will leave it. It's blacker in person than in my pics where it looks grey. It was too expensive to spend another $100+ to have it painted IBM. I would rather get the flat black single stripe kit.

I would leave it unpainted. Maybe add the ZL1 side skirts and have the top portion of those painted and leave the bottom portion unpainted. It'll match the SLP splitter nicely.

Shoot it with some plast-dip. It will leave it completely flat black and you can get a good temporary idea for about $6.

I think you can't go wrong matching the paint. I guess they figure if they have the color ready to go they could shoot the splitter with the spoiler and save time prepping again?

To make it look good black you'd need more black accents and then it may look better IMO.

I think I'll look good color matched. I like the gray splitter on the SLP special editions, but don't know about on a regular SS, can't figure out why. I really like the carbon fiber look, which I'm hoping to find one or get one of the gray ones hydro carbon or carbon fiber coated.

Yea. I am going to having it painted. I'll have to take it in tomorrow so he can get on primering it with the rear spoiler on Monday. They are closed on the weekend. Tuesday he paints them, and Wednesday they should be ready.

Thanks for your opinions, I feel the same way, not enough other flat black accents on the car for the splitter to look in place in flat black.
