Yeah I felt the same way moving down here to TX. I hate having the front license plate. I also lasted about 3 years until DPS decided to finally give me a ticket... But as long as I put it on the ticket is dismissed. Just glad I found the one by JacFab. I got the one that has a slight bend in the middle to form the front splitter instead of flat.

I put mine in my windshield with suction cups for a year in a half in Ohio, and not a single problem at all.

^That's another option I suppose. Either way, the holes are plugged and I am having a bodyshop repaint the entire front bumper cover & SLP splitter IBM.

I agree hell I'd go as far as modding the motorized version to unhide when car is in drive and hide when car is in park. However since I don't have a camaro yet and am only in the market for SGM I'll be buying used and most likely will already have the front plate bracket installed. :( (Ontario unless I buy out of province) Still saving/looking. |

I just got done painting my front bumper cover. No more license plate holder holes!
It's good that my painting experience from the 90's never wore off. I am still getting a new bumper cover because this one is damaged and I shot it with single stage enamel just for fun. It looks pretty good though, just not real shiney. I will use this one for a garage decoration. |

Some more pics w/ clear coat on.
This was an experiment, single stage enamel, 20 minutes later urethane clear coat. The results look to be successful. I don't know how this would hold up in the long term but it looks pretty good right now. Some metallic blotching (see the last pic) but not bad. |

I told my dealer when I ordered it and again when it arrived before PDI that I don't want the bracket added . They told me they only add them @ delivery if the customer wants it on Camaro's and Vettes.
