Midnighter grew a beard...
I just installed the SLP splitter on Midnighter. I like it unpainted, and I don't at the same time. What do you guys and gals think? Leave it unpainted flat black or get it painted IBM?

I'd get it painted to match, or get it painted flat black... it's not black right now, it's gray.

This is what I was thinking ^ to paint the splitter flat black. It does look grey and when I rubbed some dressing on it, it looked to glossy and cheap. I have a can of flat black plastidip. I wonder if it would hold up or if I should use flat black bumper coater. I have both. The splitter is made out of hard ABS plastic and doesn't flex what so ever.

Mine was $360 delivered but yes they are overpriced. It's just a hard piece of ABS plastic. The fitment is excellent though. It was this or spend $1,600 for the ZL1 front bumper conversion. I decided to just go with this.

Heard bad things about those though, such as they don't stay on very well without extra screws to hold them in place. They do look good though

FWIW I painted my front bumper with plasti dip, and the bugs and rocks are taking a toll on it. It is easy to re do it though.

I'm glad that you have 8 photos showing us every angle of the splitter, but do you think you could maybe pull it out of the garage and take a shot in actual light from more than 3 feet away?

If you have other black accents I would go black, otherwise I'd go with body matched paint.
