Any color. And yes, it is basically a track package added to the SS. Availability starts around August. Pricing hasn't been released yet.

LOL hahahahahahahahaha Under $40,000 We all know when the dealers get them the prices goess up :( MSRP says "Suggested retai PRICE" << I seen this happen when Plymouth made the Prowler. It was suppose to be the poor mans hot rod. $30,000 ish. The dealers got hold of them and put them on the floor for $45,000 - $50,000 Adding a few things like bigger tires and some Pin stripping :( And of course they didn't sell like they should have.

Doubt you'll see any gouging for a 1LE. Corvette had the Z51 suspension package for years, and it was just another option on the car, just like the glass top or polished wheels. Personally, I don't see dealers ordering a lot of these cars for dealer stock. They never did when the option existed before, that's why they're so rare now, nobody bought them.

If production is limited, then some dealers will try to charge a premium. However, there won't be anything limiting the production of 1LEs. They won't have a negative impact on Chevy's overall fuel mileage. If anything, they might get slightly better mileage than a 2SS. It will probably have the highest profit margine for Chevy, in the Camaro line up. I'm pretty sure that I will be getting a 1LE, unless there is some SNAFU at Chevy, and I will be paying less than sticker price.

I would be surprised if that price includes the destination charge. So, in reality, it will probably have a sticker price of over $40,000.

If this car is supposed to compete with the BOSS 302, I won't expect a 1SS/1LE to be over $44k. I expect a few dealers to gouge the 1LE package when it is paired with a 2SS, the same way a few dealers markup the BOSS 302 LS, but there are plenty of dealers in my area where I can get a BOSS at MSRP or below.

I would be shocked if there is any price-gouging. I would expect dealers to order a ton of these. It seems like 50% of dealer stock is already 2SS/RS models.

I plan on getting one in CRT with the Mojave interior and matte black hockey stripe package.

Seems I cannot post articles from camaro news. Oh well.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

The vehicle will be available in array of colors. The 1LE is just the trim level added to the Camaro. The 1 LE features a front splitter painted in smoke gray; This 1LE front splitter provides a unique appearance while helping to reduce front lift significantly. Also a rear spoiler in smoke gray; The rear spoiler in Smoke Gray adds to the aggressive look and aerodynamic efficiencies of 1LE. If you have any additional questions, please feel to PM me at any time.

Is your dealer going to install the stripes for you? According to the Press release, there are no stripe packages available on the 1LE. That is one of the color combinations I was thinking about ordering. Either CRT/Mojave or White/Mojave. BTW, it looks like Mojave will be a "Premium" interior color, so count on it costing at least $500 extra.
