I really can't see how anybody could do one for less than $1,800! There's so much labor involved, it's just not feasible. My buddy owns HM that specializes in building Trophy truck tubular chassis and he wouldn't replicate mine for $1,800.
Having other options would be a good thing but unfortunatley I don't see BMR making any in the future. I spoke with the owner of BMR at PRI last December and they were entertaining the idea. He suggested I'd speak with Kyle in March to get a better idea of a time line. I did, they still hadn't done anything. Kyle suggested we speak in July, I did..... nothing. I spoke with him this October and he had to put me on hold to check with the engineers, came back and said they haven't started anything. So if you want one, your best bet is to get one from Craig at Extreme. |
