Steering wheel

Does the ZL1 steering wheel look a little too close to one on the Honda CR-V? Notice the treatment on the lower part of the wheel.

EDIT: Look's like ford is getting in on it too...

EDIT: and then there's this: the 2011 Challenger. I guess the trim style is all the rage.

EDIT: stolen from another post:

Similar, but kinda reminds me of a Ferrari wheel with the flat F1 style on the bottom.

The silver trim part is kind of similar. Chevy uses that same design on other cars though (like the Cruze and Volt). The actual wheel on this one is a different shape though since it has the flat F1 style bottom.

It also looks like the steering wheel on my wife's 09 Honda Pilot.

It looks like my Equinox's wheel. I personally love the original c5 wheel. Its different from all the other chevys'.

Bowtie needs to go. Put in CAMARO. ZL1 needs to be a bit bigger.

Dont let the "flat-bottom" wheel fool you. The steering wheel is the exact same as most of Chevy's new line-up. Only different is the bottom quarter "flat" piece, the grated insert, and the ZL1 badge.

EPIC FAIL!

Just my $.02

I like it. And if it improves the feel, why not? Plus you have to think... the steering wheel would be an easy thing to change later, this is a pre-production piece, not showroom material...

WHY are you looking at Honda wheels? I'd probably have gone my whole life without knowing.

Actually my wife drives one. Our cars look pretty funny parked side by side.

I like the ZL-1 steering wheel. I might switch to it later if it is easy. Let's see what actually comes out.

After getting used to the new wheel, I actually like it better than the current model... there, I said it.

I just prefer if there was a ZL1 logo instead of a bow tie.

I'm willing to bet a few bucks the bowtie will not be on the final version. It just seems so out of place.
