one question that I have still revolves around injectors.

we have the Aeromotive Eliminator fuel system with speed controller. I know we have enough fuel getting to the engine bay... my next question is around injectors.

we really are shooting for 1200rwhp, even though we.. i mean I may not admit to it. I have heard that anything 100+ lb injectors will not mesh well with the stock computer.

I have looked into this driver.... but have not heard much about it.
http://www.acceleronics.com/versafuelerorder.htm

it seems to be an economical solution, instead of getting a new computer.

so as of now.... I still have the 85lb injectors, we will run low boost, make low hp for a while, as we do shake down tests and get some miles on the setup. Cody is very careful about the duty cycle on the injectors so we will not push them.

so what is the next step passed the 85s i guess is my question.

You may want to talk to these guys about the injectors. (http://www.corvetteinjectors.com) I don't know them personally, but they were given to me as a reference.

The size of the injector is usually fairly irrelevant to the computer. It comes down to does it have the granularity to handle a large injector in the very low rpm cruise range. Full throttle is easy. Part throttle/street driving larger injectors is always the hard part. We have 160's on the Firebird and really have to pay attention to cylinder wash during extended low rpm/low power use. The workaround is to make sure you run the rpm up/hammer every so often while driving. (Must be under load. Blipping the throttle in neutral is usually not enough)

I asked Corey about this and he said that a lot of that is old school computer tech... He mentioned a box made by Honda that does the same thing...

Why don't you have Cody call and talk to Corey about it... Corey mentioned if we run out of injector on my car before we get where we want we'll just up-size them, and I have 93 lb/hr injectors on there right now...

Just call FIC and order the bosch 120's. I may be wrong but I believe that's what huffer has along with few other people running stock ecu.

ok, well that makes sense, but as i attempt to make this still very streetable, i wont want to worry about the wash out. little bit more research needed i suppose.

120s from bosch huh. guess we will have to look into them.

if they work with the stock ECM i see no issue then, and that should get us where we want to be

for sure. once we get into tuning i think that will be a good idea.

Huffer, was vengeance talking about your car when they mentioned a 1060rwhp camaro and the bosch 120s? I saw it on ls1tech. They said those injectors were a pleasure to tune.

Might be....1060 is where we started on the first dyno session but we've tweaked it pretty hard since. We are just shy of 1200 as the car sits right now.
