stock bowtie customization

Hey guys n gals i was wanting to take the bowties off of my 2011 IOM LLT. I am planning on doing the front bowtie orange outline black inside and the opposite on the back. I have found DIY threads for everything i need to do except for how i go about putting them back on...On the front one im assuming that you just snap it back on. Now, for the back bowtie im not too sure what to do. Do i need to get double sided adhesive and put it back on like that or what? please if anyone has any tips or pointers not just for the back bowtie but for the entire project please let me know.

Thanks,
-Chris

The front snaps into place, the rear requires doublesided tape.

any suggestion as to which type of 2sided i should use? im guessing 3M seeing is that it is really strong and very popular. also should i put the tape on the whole back of the bowtie or should i just put it in certain spots

The front one pops right off. The rear I just taped off around the bow tire and used some large painting plastic to protect the rear of the car from over spray. I didn't want to mess up my bow tie or have issues putting it back on straight.
