Easy way to 11's

Just curious on ur opinions on an easy way to 11's in the 1/4 mile with an LS3.

I was thinking 275/35/20 Nitto DR's, Corsa Sport catback exhaust, Roto-Fab cai, tune and a 125 horse NX nitrous kit. I drive pretty good but a far cry from John Force. Can I get into the 11's ?

A resounding hells yea.

That 125 shot will put you right in the middle if not lower into the 11's.

That aint happnin either.A L99 car isnt running 12.20s with a cai and tune.More like 13.20s

L99 cars are putting down 330 RWHP stock

It takes 430 RWHP to get one of these heavy cars in the low 12s.

Sorry but you are not picking up 100 RWHP with a cai and tune, not on this planet anyway.

thanks guys I did some reserach and I plan on a 150 horse NX kit (not 150 shot) for sure and a MGW shifter definately with a Roto-Fab CAI, tune and Corsa Catback Exhaust. I just went to the track yesturday and a 2010 LS3 SS on 20" DR's went 12.88 & 12.92 with a 2.1 60ft so the spray should take off atleast one second so high 11's are not a problem.

I went 12.4@110 with a roto-fab, long tube headers tuned with a custom xpipe in my exhaust and a 3600 stall. All on a shit 1.9 60'. It put down 370 rwhp. LOL you really work at a shop?
I'm sorry to butt in on this discussion, but I agree with this quote. G8 GTs with full bolt-ons and a cam is pulling high 11 runs. So I doubt a car is going to have trouble considering it has .2 more displacement, originally bigger stock cam than the G8 GT's stock cam, lighter chassis, aggressive gearing compared to the stock G8 GT and a 125 shot of go juice.

Hell, a G8 GT with just bolt-ons and 150hp with nano system has pulled a mid 11 run. I would expect a L99 Camaro would do better with the same mods

The big thing that comes into play for your car is the 3600 stall. You would not be running 12.40's without it. The stock converter is a dog in the L99 cars. You never mentioned a stall before, so Cole's theory is correct that you're not going to be running low-mid 12's with a cai, exhaust and tune.

11's are attainable with only bolt-on's, with a 125 shot it's a guarantee.
