I am GLAD I live 1.5 hours from Scotty.
My X-wifes neighbor owns a Chevy dealer in Libertyville, IL, I spoke to him 3 days ago about the new Camaro, he said it WILL BE MARKED UP ALOT the first year, at least at his dealership. So I guess I won't be buying one locally. Good thing CamaroScotty is close to me. |

ok, im pretty sure this has been talked about..... maybe not.. i dont know I think ive been losing braincells from smelling color all day long.. anyways.
can a dealership mark up if you are ordering your car? That would be pretty lame if they could, because its not like its sitting on their lot and they are waiting to make money on it...

You should have a purchase contract written with the price to expect before the car order is actually placed.
Can it happen to you? Yes, I think a dealer COULD "Adjust" the price.....but that would be BAD for business! |

Welcome to this thread Scotty
My brother-in-law works for a local chevy dealer here. I know he wouldn't screw me over. He is one of the big shots but a smartass and doesn't tell me staight on when ordering will be happening. I am planning on getting the SS. When will the day happen to where I can order that SS? |
