Hawk Pads - HPS or Ceramic?

I want to replace all four pads on my SS. I've read the manufacturer info and a lot of the threads about Hawk pads. They both claim low dust, low noise, easy on rotors, better performance, etc. I'm looking for the differences to help decide which to get.

I'm interested in a good street pad (no racing or competitive driving) that reduces dust and is quiet. I also want to swap out the OEM front pads so I can fit a spare tire (I have the roller skate brakes).

Any suggestions? How do you decide between HPS and ceramic? Is there anything else I should consider?

I had to mak ethis decision as well.
I chose the HPS because I needed the higher temp range for racing occasionally.

If you do not need that I would stick with the ceramic, they will be just as powerful, but less dust.

Always happy to help, let me know if you need ordering info.

If you're looking for low dust and noise then get the ceramics, they work great on the street.

The HPS will dust pretty good, but they offer better braking performance and more fade resistance.
