What is the best deal I can bargain with dealers for a Yellow colored Camaro 2LS. I also do have the $1000 coupon from the website.
Thanks. |

Best deal I could find locally on a 2012 1LT Convertible was $3,000 more than the deal I got from Rodgers Chevrolet and Becky Doyle. It pays to shop around. But just because buyer A says he paid X dollars does not mean you will be able to get a similar deal. Do your research online on the pricing guides. If you have a Credit Union check with them also. And always ask the dealer if there are any other special incentives such as the Credit Union discount that can be applied. But after you find out what their selling price is. And also don't mention that $1,000 coupon until then either. Good luck.

Also check with your insurance company that may have cash rebates also. Just as ^^^ said, dont tell the dealer you have it up front.
If you can secure financing ahead of time, it may also save you a big headache. Mind controlled by Cerebro

Great suggestions. I found my penfed credit union has a car buying service where in there are discounts upto $1,523 off the MSRP. The MSRP for a yellow 2LS is listed as
$25,445 + $300 for Yellow and the estimated savings price is listed as $24247. Also for qualified members there is 0.99% 5 yr loan available from them if you buy through one of their dealers. I already had a 20K used car loan pre-approved as I was thinking of buying a used car. I am thinking if I get a good deal I might as well buy a new one as the resale of camaro's are pretty high. what do you all think. I am yet to call my insurance company (geico) to see if they offer any cash rebates. |

I got a quote for $24000 from a dealer for a yellow Camaro LS2. Is this a good deal? I haven't shown them the 1000 coupon yet.

What Is the MSRP? It sounds pretty good if it's new because I bought a new 1LT in 2010 at MSRP which was $28K. Is this a new or used car? If used what year is it? how many miles?

I got the deal finalized and paid 25K drive out price (6% sales tax)with Rally stripes installed. After going through the purchase process IMO the best way to get a good deal is to email all nearby dealers and ask them for the best drive out price they can offer and compare the price and go to the dealership with the least quote and finalize the sale. Also the dealers in the city outskirts will give you better deals.

Funny you were looking for the same car as me I picked mine up my 13 LS auto with the rally yellow, rally stripes, and heritage grille for $22946. I haggled down to $23946, and then pulled out the $1000 pop up discount
All I got from the gm was "well played" |
