RacingBrakes Lightweight Rotors

I'm looking to buy a full set of the RB two-piece rotors and Hawk brake pads; I went to their site to buy the setup, but everything including shipping came to a total of $2,229.00. I know that's a lot of cheese, but I like the looks and idea of dropping 22lbs of weight with these rotors.

Does anyone know if there are any discounts available on this setup.

We just got set up with Racing Brake and will have their stuff available soon. They make some amazing brake components. It is hard to beat increased braking performance and dropping serious amounts of rotating and unsprung mass on top of that.

You might want to look at topbrakes.com , I got a pair of DBA 5000's(front), pair 4000's (rear)both sets cross drilled and slotted, Hawk PC pads, and stainless lines, all for around 1700.00 delivered. just another option, and i am in no way associated with them, just saying.not trying to cut down any of our good parts suppliers/sponsors in any way.

Yah, I'm also looking at these. Haddad Motorsports is suppose to get back to me on the cost.

I have a full set of their rotors and they are well worth it. When you open the box they're a work of art. The benefits of reducing the unsprung rotational weight is real and noticeable.

RacingBrake rotors are amazing! Kinda like everything else in life and Camaro Mods, you get what you pay for. The engineering and overall quality of thier rotor is obvious but expensive. They broke new ground making a lighter two piece rotor with the rear rotor and the intigrated drum parking brake. If you do any tracking with your car at all it will be well worth it.

They seem expensive, but I think the weight reduction and added styling are worth it. Anything that can lighten this pig of a car I'll do it.

I think it might have been cheaper to buy a Vette and add rear seats! :-)

Yeah I hear ya but it wouldn't be a Camaro. There's something about this car that's so much more satisfying to look at and be in compared to a Vette. Vettes are a dime a dozen around here and nobody gives them a second look. My car still gets attention and I've had it a year and a half!

I agree. Seeing a Camaro is becoming more common every day but the styling is much more striking than a Vette. I'm done thread jacking now.
