There seem's to be alot of talk on Sealant's VS Carnauba's (probably my fault) Here's some good fact's on the 2 from the AutoGeek, that might help
some of you make up your mind.

Dude, that guy is past something else. I bet he has a picture of Jesus on his wall because he thinks it is a self portrait!

That AutoGeek article is more of a general rule of thumb instead of a set in law truth. It will always come down to the manufacturer's blends which will vary slightly with each manufacturer.

Thanks again for all your help on both forums!! Really appreciate it!

If you get some dusting from say using SHR, what do you knock that down with before going to FMP?

This is a common problem that folks sometimes run into. Dusting only happens when you do a couple of things.
  • Using too much product.
  • Using dirty pads.
  • Working on a car with too hot of a surface.
  • Working the product too fast.

If a pad starts to create dust, you should switch to the "slow cut" technique in order to get the pad back in shape. The misting of the pad will knock down that problem. Also, slowing down the OPM's will help drastically. If you are creating dust, you are not doing much correction to the paint. We all want to see the fruits of our labor but sometimes, it's a slow process.
