V-6 Availability In Northeast - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Everyone,
I went to my Local chevy dealer today here in Massachusetts and was told that the Northeast was not being allocated any V-6 Camaro's until the calendar year 2010. Has anyone else been told this?

Dealer is most likely wrong in this case.

just to clarify something V6's were just taken off constraint this week, so he is correct that orders werent being taken for them... however he is an idiot for thinking they arent being built till next year.

I ordered a 2LT RS IOM and was advised it would be fall. I'm number 78 at my dealership. BTW The salesman is an idiot!!!!!

My dealer is out of allocations but if you are willing to wait go out to Legacy Chevrolet in Woburn and talk to Eddie Shine. He is a Camaro guy (drives an Anniversary '02 SS) and will be honest with you.

Funny you should tell me about eddie...before i read your post...i ended up there this morning...i talked to eddie and was very happy with what he had to say. did you order from him? Have you heard anything about yours?

I just sent you an e-mail about ordering a Camaro from MacMulkin Chevy in Nashua NH. We still have allocations and we WILL get you a V-6 if you want one.

Yep, I ordered my car 10/13 with Eddie. I have been checking in with him regularly but my car hasn't been pulled for production yet. I have talked to a number of the guys there and they have all been honest and straight forward about the Camaro.
