Camaro SS vs. Challenger R/t vs. Mustang GT comparison
Hey, I'm not sure if this is a repost but good comparison video between the 3, seems like the Camaro comes up on top.

I refuse to believe that the Mustang is better around the corners. I think they're basing that mostly on their skidpad and slalom scores which were done on a notably dusty track.

Awesome! I haven't seen this yet! Camaro wins!!!
How come they aren't comparing the SS to the SRT8 though?

I want to point out.
They managed a 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and 13.5 @ 102.9mph in the Mustang GT 0-60 in 5 seconds and 13.0 @ 110.9 mph in Camaro SS 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 13.9 @ 103.2 mph in Challenger R/T What does this tell me? With the same people doing the testing of all three cars, I think that tells a pretty good story as far as the camaro's performance compared to the other two. Plus.. the camaro is trapping 111 MPH!!!!! C'mon people, anyone who know's anything about drag racing knows with a great launch on an actual track (not like in all the tests we've seen on summer tires in 38* weather!) this is a mid to high 12 second car off the showroom floor! Now if real people out in the world are pulling low 13's in a stock challenger R/T, and during these tests they only were able to get a 13.9... doesn't that say something along the lines that the SS should be able to do better than what it has done in these tests? I just simply can't get over the trap speed of the camaro.. THAT is what tells you the most about this car.

Does it look to anyone else like all they did was take the videos and numbers from a test of a the R/T and Mustang and put them against their newest numbers from the Camaro? Other than the non-moving shots of the silver Camaro (that doesn't run in any of the performance tests) it doesn't ever look like the Camaro is on the same roads or test areas as the other two. Doesn't look like a true same day/same track/same drivers test of the 3 cars at all....

i was like WOW?!
Anyways the Camaro is a clear winner, and i like the fact that all three were tested the same time, it shows the true winner being the Camaro. As for the SRT8, thats the hi-po version and should only be compared to the GT500 and the Z28 if that happens, and it will be 3rd out of those three. If there was no Chally RT, then the SRT8 wouldve been there, i like the fact they chose the RT because thats only fair to the Mustang and Camaro Great review P.S even with cloth panels they really liked the SS, imagine if they had gotten their hands on one with the Acrylic panels |
