Oh, and why do none of the totals in your graphs add up to the same number of cars?

Lots of new Corvettes are sold with automatic transmissions. Why? Age. Lots of retirees buy them. The ones that cannot afford the Vette may be buying the Camaros. I bought an L99 because sometimes, I am just too tired to push a clutch. My 2LT was a manual and my coordination is not as good now at 50 as it was at 18 or even 35. I did grind from 1st to 2nd a few times and even shifted from 2 to 5 missing 3rd. Now, the nice thing about the L99 is that I can still control when the car shifts. As a matter of fact, I haven't allowed the car to shift on it's own, yet. And, I haven't had a grind noise or a missed shift, yet

Nice charts!

I find it interesting that there are more BLACK Camaros on the street, than the total number of Nissan 370z's. And the 370 launched first.

Less than 9000 2010 Camaro's in CA where there are over 40,000,000+ cars on the road. That's why I can still go days and days without seeing one, other times I might see 2 or 3 in one day, but those days are pretty rare.

I bought an automatic because most of my driving (probably around 85%) is city driving. That and the wife threated to have me teach her how to drive a manual with the Camaro.

Thanks for sharing that info with us....very interesting...

When I ordered my RJT last year on 1/2/09 before production started, it was already considered an 'additional charge' color...it cost $325 more for the RJT tintcoat when I ordered mine...

It was well worth it, since this color is so rich in the depth of shine and looks so amazing in the sun!!!...it 'shines like a jewel'....good choice of color name...I have as many people go nuts over the COLOR as they do over the CAMARO!!!...

Were those Canadian provinces reported in the chart labeled "states"?
