Exhaust Help

Hey guys I bet there a lot of post on here on which exhaust is great, but what i'm looking for is an axel back exhaust system. I'm looking for an exhaust that will give me a muscle sound more than a ricer sound and for around the price range of 500 to 700$ could anyone help? Thanks guys for any help at all.

Yes you are lol but now I feel guilty so I'll play. The one you want to look at is the MRT v2. That's the best axle back.

Might want to think about a Cat back system. Will save some weight and MPGs. I have the Solo Mach cat back and got it for the same price as an axle back. The sound is fantastic, it will never be a V8 but its the closest I have heard.

SLP LoudMouth II. Sounds great, just recently installed mine. Very deep tones, not raspy, and sounds like a true muscle car.

Thanks, you'll love it on here getting ideas for mods, but your wallet won't!

I don't know how much weight you'd be saving going catback vs axleback.. since most of the weight is the mufflers on the stock system, the axleback would do the trick.

Correct. The stock mufflers weighed 25.5 lbs each. My MRT's weighed 9.5 lbs each. This is a savings of 16 lbs per side. Total weight saved off the back end 32 lbs.

In the Solo cat back there is an integrated X-pipe and resonator in one package up front. You elliminate both mufflers in the back of the car, just pipes. Axle backs rely on two resonators/mufflers. Can't get lighter or a cleaner flow than this without a major modification.
