Have someone lie under car and guide it in while someone angles it in from top is easiest. It can be done by one person but you have to get it at the correct angle as it doesn't drop straight down.

Definately a trick to it, my 16 year old son can do it by himself on the first try. Which is both great and annoying at the same time. lol

Definitely can be tricky. The last time I had trouble I put my work light under the motor on the concrete pointed upward and bam there was the hole. Just guided it in and some. Not the most conventional route bit its worked twice.

I got it on the first try. What's the problem? there is no trick. You just have to know where it is behind one of the primaries and feel it in. Kinda like your "first time"

Sometimes you need to lick on the hole for a little bit before trying to put the dipstick in.
Wait a minute.....what are you guys talking about?

Its not hard... actually it'll go right back in once you get it started. Just make sure you are starting in the right spot...

lol.....back to the OP. I did it myself and it was not easy. I put the dipstick back in the tube because it is longer than the tube. The amount of the dipstick that extends beyond the tube is really helpful in guiding the tube back in place.

Ya know....no matter how you try and type this....it is damn funny.....

Oh, I also found it helpful to remove the heat shield by the starter but it was a PITA to re-install.

Hope this helps.
