I'd say about 95% of our boosted cars run meth up here. If I've seen any issue with it we would not run it. If you keep the system running 100% meth from clean sources I've seen pumps last 6+ years no problem.
I rely on it so much my personal 7 second car ran 93 octane and dual meth (15's full tilt). Over 80 passes one season on it. Just added meth as needed.
Haven't seen any abnormal rotor wear from it. Some whipple cars we did are 10+ years on it.

If you BAP is set up to work with the FPCM, the FPCM will control the voltage as much as the BAP. If you dial back the potentiometer, it will reduce max voltage, but the FPCM will still pulse as it sees fit so you probably would not see much of a rise in EFR.

You would probably have to adjust the tune or run less than 100% to increase your afr effectively. A lot of tuners don't like to tune meth in because people let their tanks run dry, nozzles clog or solenoids fail and then you are running too much timing and not enough fuel. My tuner looks at it like additional protection.

Full disclosure: I don't run the potentiometer that comes with the KB BAP. I just have a resistor in line that keeps it from going over 18.5 volts. When the hobbs switch sees 4lb of boost, the BAP comes on full bore. I also recently added an aux pump when I switched to E85. With the meth and E85, my afr is 10.6 so once I go through the 8 gal of meth on the shelf, I'll probably quit using it.

10.2 is pretty rich in my opinion even with meth.
But it's just a number. It's the spark plugs that will show what the engine wants.
