I have the v6 and it runs great, it almost sounds like you have some bad gas in it, when you test drove it did it run good? I bet the gas the filled it up with may have had water in it. Have them drain the tank and put new gas in it...

I have a 2010 and I've had a battery replaced, both sets of keys completely fall apart at the seams and no I haven't been rough with them at all, the bluetooth has not worked since I rolled the car off the lot, the stabilitrack came on for no reason and wouldn't reset until I took it to the dealer, and a suspension problem with the front end all within the first year of owning the car. I really love this car, but I'm getting tired of bringing it back to the dealer. I will say this though, the dealer has come through in fixing everything except for the bluetooth problem. Still in the process of getting that fixed.
Don't know if anyone else is having a problem with the keys, but both of mine are coming apart. The spare I was using after the first key came apart and quit working, literally came apart as I was starting the car the very first time with it. Hopefully these new ones that the dealer ordered won't do the same. |

My car is VIN 13279. It experienced the dreaded snapped output shaft in the transmission, and the rear spoiler cam loose. GM replaced the tranny and I had the car back in 36 hours, no questions asked. I am impressed with this machine.

I am still waiting for my car. Heated driver seat stopped working. This thursday is 3 weeks. I had a long talk with a couple people. The clutch stuck 3 times to the floor, and I NEVER used the "Launch" mode. I don't need it. I think the flywheel is warped? I KNOW something is wrong with the rearend, even though the dealer says it fine. NOT. I just HOPE I get my 2010 2SS/RS back with ALL problems fixed.
God Bless and have a Wonderful Day. |

Check engine light came on earlier tonight. Called onstar and got them to run a diagnostics check and said there was a problem with the emissions stuff. So I gotta take it in tomorrow.

Rear spoiler like everyone else.
Threw a bearing at 9,000 miles and got my entire motor rebuilt. Suspension in the front is a little clunky but I suspect it was because my tire pressure is low and my winter tires + rims are 1LTs and I think they are harder than the smooth RS wheels. My seat belt also needed to be oiled as it was squeaky off the lot. My fans are also starting to make an annoying winning noise so I suspect the dash is going to have to come apart and the fans oiled. So quite a few problems but only one big one. Still love the car... |
